Busted : Rape Propaganda about India being unsafe for women

STRIPPING THE PROPAGANDA NAKED
- Exposing rape politics of India. By Sreevidya Balasubramaniam. You can follow her on Twitter here
The link to her tweet thread on Twitter is here

The propaganda industry in India have focused on 3 major narratives over the past 6 years.

1. Lynchistan
2. Fascist
3. Rapistan

First two failed. This thread analyses and exposes the third lie with facts.

A few years ago I was to meet a western woman who requested for an informal coffee meet instead.

After buying me a coffee, with compassion and empathy in her voice this woman said to me “I am sorry about the situation in India. I know being woman, you don’t feel safe anymore…”
Being obsessed with truth, I smiled at the opportunity to crush a vicious propaganda.

I said “thank you. save your condescension and try to keep yourself safe because women are 13 times less safe in your country than in mine”

Gave data & watched a sunset of colours on her face
All this happened post @narendramodi in 2014. Travel warnings were issued to travellers to India by many countries.

But how true is the news of rapes in India? Is it right to call our country Rapistan?

This thread challenges the threadbare propaganda.

First, Global comparison

As shown in the graph, India is way below in terms of rate per 100,000.

India's conviction rate of 30% is far ahead of many countries (NCRB).

US felony conviction is 5 out of 230 reported cases - that's 23%.

US reports only 23% of rape incidents (Rainn.org)

But the propagandists in India would want you to believe that women are less safe in India, where they are worshipped.

Women in India are 15 times safer than they are in US. Are 6 times safer than in Europe.

So, how did we get such a bad image?

That's the power of propaganda

The next propaganda is “women are not safe in Modi’s India”.

How true is that?

How can we analyse that?

1. A comparison of India pre and post 2014
2. Comparison of states with and without BJP
3. Analysis of rape rate per 100,000
4. Analysis of frequency of rapes.

Read on.
1. Comparison of Rape in India before and during Modi era

It’s crystal clear from the graph, that rapes soared under Congress. Relentless rise, running up to 2014.

The FIRST EVER drop happened after Modi took oath.

Spikes in line with global trend (smart phones main reason)

2. Rate of rape per 100,000 compared across – Congress and BJP regimes. Again, BJP fares far better than Congress.

Fact: population growth had receding trend over the period, but even during dropping rate, rape rates rose higher till 2014, and then fell during BJP regime.

3. The propagandists knew that absolute numbers and rate per 100,000 will not hold ground as truth seekers will rip them apart.

So, what did the communist mouthpieces and fake news portals find?

“A woman is raped every 15 mins in India” propaganda.

How fair is this cry?

The graph tells the story. When Congress took over in 2004, every 29 mins a woman was raped.

Congress ensured that 2 women were raped in the same time by 2014.

When Modi took over, every 14 minutes a woman was raped in India.

Shameless propagandists hid this from you.
Since 2014 this frequency is stalled to one rape in every 16 minutes.

This means that women are 2 more minutes safer under Modi than under Congress today.

Given the rate of Congress, if they had ruled, it’s possible that once in every 10 minutes a woman would be raped in India.
Thank God they didn’t.

Let’s now look at the trends of the country as well as key states.

Trend line is consistent with the world trend (coincides wider use of smart phones and social groups).

As a country, there is distinctive difference before and after 2014.

Will discuss 4 clusters – high number states, non-BJP states, two random clusters.

Cluster 1. High Number States - UP, MP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra.

BJP shows slow rising/declining trend across the cluster. UP drop notable. Congress and SP show steep rise everywhere except MP.

Cluster 2. Non-BJP ruled states – Kerala, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Odisha

Mixed trend with Kerala being the only state with steady rise despite changing regimes.

All show rising trend since 2018

Odisha/ TN did better than Kerala and WB under Communist and Congress rules.

Cluster 3. Random states - Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and Gujarat

GJ and KN show slow rise during BJP and abnormal spikes post 2014. Congress drops rates in Chhattisgarh.

GJ and CG show downward trend since 2018.

Cluster 4. Random States – Assam, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana

Except Haryana, BJP trends show significant decline, and Congress showing significant rise. This is a spectacular graph.

Shows BJP’s impact.

Haryana - rise is slower than steep rise under Congress.

Delhi, Central police

In Summary,

• India is a safer country for women than most others
• BJP regime is safer for women than Congress
• BJP ruled states are safer for women than Congress
• Congress doubled the rape frequency in 10 years
• BJP is stalling the rate.
Every rape is a heinous crime. No woman or man should be subject to any abuse.

Every rapist is a criminal.

But even bigger criminals are those who rape the honour of the motherland.

Vande Mataram.

Kerala development model - propaganda busted

I am sick of this propaganda of the Kerala model of development. Let me burst this. By Sreevidya Balasubramaniyam. You can follow her on Twitter here
The link to her thread on Twitter is here.

1. Literacy

Kerala had 47% in 1951, 6 years before Communist party formed their first government. This is thanks to the efforts taken by the Kings of Kerala especially southern states.

India's national average then was 18%.

Distant second was Maharashtra with 28%.

Fast forward to 2021. Kerala is 96.2 and India - 77.95%.

In terms of percentile increase, Kerala despite a head-start from the rest of India made an increase of 49.2 percentile points (pp), and India made a jump of 59.95pp and MH - 55pp.
Overall, India's improvement in literacy was a good 10.93pp above Kerala's achievement.

So what exactly was this Kerala Model that is worse than average India?

2. Infant Mortality

In 1951, the all India rate was as high as 27.4 and it fell to 7.3 by 2018.

In the same period,
Kerala could improve only from 18% to 6.9% - a mere 11.1pp improvement against India's overall improvement on 20.1pp.

India did a much better job than Kerala did.

So, what exactly was this Kerala model that is worse than average India?
4. Life Expectancy

In 1970 - 75, this was 62 for Kerala, 50 for India.

From then until 2002 - 06, Kerala added 12 years whereas India added 14 years, and UP and TN during the same time added 17 years.

So, what exactly was this Kerala model that is worse than av India, UP, TN?
5. Poverty

Kerala's rate of reducing headcount poverty index was better than national average or any state. This is mainly due to the high PQLI for the century.

Availability of water and sea food is a game changer for Kerala and Goa.

However, what about BPL?
% of people below poverty line (BPL) is the right index which is on par for comparison with other states.

In 1993-94, Kerala had 31.3 and India had 45.3.

In 2011-12, Kerala reduced this to 7.1, and India to 21.9

KL = 24.2pp, India = 23.4.

Not a big difference.
States did better than Kerala during this time:

Andhra (35.4), Bihar - yes, Bihar (26.6), Haryana (24.7), HP (26.5), Odisha (26.5).

Its obvious many state made at par or better than Kerala during this time. Kerala's improvement is no great story.
Increased PPP and collective bargaining power have helped poor people to rise above poverty line. This is a credit that Communists can take briefly.

I said briefly as it drove people out of state for livelihood which brings down the state's Happiness Index.
6. Real Growth

Kerala's real growth as a percentage of GSDP stood at 8.07 in 2014 which was way behind other states like Goa, Bihar (yes Bihar) and Gujarat (yes, Gujarat).

7. Fate of Agriculture

Communism killed our most important means of income for the state.
From 56% to GSDP in 1960, it fell to a pathetic 9.34% in 2012-13.

All this, while establishing and maintaining 72 public sector departments, all created for 'developing' agriculture.

Both Communists and Congress MUST explain to the people of Kerala how the ground slipped
under our very feet and why Keralites had to go to other states and countries and live in exile.

You must also explain to the people of Kerala why you don't have GUTS to do another land ceiling.

Can you confirm all lands ceased from Hindus have gone to the needy and worthy?
I challenge you to do another land ceiling today.

You will not, because you know it is not Hindus, but other communities who will lose their lands and you will cease to exist as a party if you did that.

Finally, the most shameful indicator.
8. Role of expatriates in economy.

The so called Kerala model has everything to credit those Keralites who work outside the state and keep sending money so that the government is running a state.

In 1972-73, the % of remittance to NSDP was a mere 0.51.
In 2008, this rose to a colossal share of 31% of NSDP.

Today, more than 3 persons in 10 are not living in the state and are sending money to the state to sustain lives.

This coincides with every growth indicator discussed earlier in this thread.

Sorry, no credit to Communists.
Now, let's have a looks at some more human indicators of the state and see where Communists have taken us.

1. Suicide rate

UP with 16% of India's population, has the LOWEST rate - 3.1%

Literate Kerala?

Brace yourself - a whopping 24%. That is almost 8 times that of UP.
2. Alcohol consumption, Kerala is in the top 5 states, UP is nowhere to see in this ranking.

3. Rape rate - see her thread on this to see the GLORY of Kerala.

4. Divorce rate - with 5 divorces every hour, Kerala leads the chart.

I can go on and on on.
Overall, all the human development indicators clearly dismantle the Kerala Model propaganda quite ruthlessly, the last few indicators we seldom speak define quality of life in Kerala.

There is a long list and I will share it another day. We need to debate this.
I can add drugs, tobacco, roads, potholes, bandhs, non-availbility of food items, fresh veggies, power cuts, temple loots and much more.

Hindus are poorer in Kerala than X and M. I can write a 1000 page report on how this happened.

For now, Kerala Model busted.

India and it's power brokers

B. Jeyamohan is one of the most influential contemporary, Tamil and Malayalam writer[1] and literary critic from Nagercoil.

This is the translation of the article:
"Intolerance" that you can read on Facebook here

I learnt the meaning of “Power” when I visited Delhi in 1994 to receive my Sanskriti Samman award and stayed for two days in India International Centre. I did have some familiarities with Information and culture ministries. However, IIC is the place where “Power” is served on a gold plate.

IIC is located in a peaceful and luxurious bungalow with lawns, high class food and drinks, quietly moving waiters, the butter English spoken without the upper lip moving, lipsticked women gracefully adjusting their hair, the elegant welcome given to the inner circle members with signs and hugs without making any noise!

I have stayed in many star hotels later. But I have never seen anywhere the luxury and comfort of IIC.

IIC was established and funded by the Indian government as an independent body to promote arts and free thinking. If my memory serves me right, Dr. Karan Singh was also its head. I saw him in that evening.

I saw every intellectual that I had known through my reading of English language magazines. U R Ananthamurthy was staying there for almost four years almost as a permanent fixture. Girish Karnad was staying for a few days. Writers, journalists and thinkers such as Pritish Nandi, Makarant Parajpe, Shobha De were seen everywhere in the Centre.

It was true that I was overwhelmed that day. Arunmozhi (my wife) ran to Girish Karnad on spotting him and was thrilled to introduce herself to him. I was told that Nayantara Sehgal used to come there on daily basis to have a drink. I saw her that day too. I realized that the two other individuals who were given the award along with me, Rajdeep Sardesai and Anamika Haksar were regulars there.

They wear rough Kolkata kurtas and Kolhapuri chappals. Wear small glasses. Women in pure white hair and khadi saris. One of them, they said, was Kapila Vatsyayan. They said, Pupul Jayakar will also come. Wherever you turn, there were literary talks and art discussions.

That pomp kind of unnerved me. The ultra high intellectualism seen there somewhat alienated me. Venkat Swaminathan, who saw me the next day, immediately recognised my sense of discomfort. He said, "Hey, three fourth of this crowd is just a perfect horde of crows (the Tamil equivalent of psychophants). The snobs that make their living are draw their power by licking the boots of power centres. Most of them are mere power brokers. At best you may find one or two artists who you will really respect. And they can't bear this atmosphere for too long and will just run away.

But these are the people who decide what is culture for this country. They can talk about every thing in the world for one hour in colourful English with the right number of jargons. But on the 61st minute, the colour will start fading. Actually they don't know any thing in the real sense. Almost all are like the little boxes we find in attics which held hing a long time back", said Venkat Swaminathan.

Everyone will have four or five trusts in the name of Service Organizations or Cultural Organizations. They will be flying from one conference to the other. Once given accommodation in a government bungalow, they can never be removed from there. In Delhi alone this crowd has illegally occupied about 5,000 bungalows. There is another Power Centre similar to this in Delhi which is called the JNU. It is the same story there too.

Can't the government get rid of them?", I asked. He said, "normally governments do not think in that line. Because this crowd has stuck itself from the time of Nehru. They support each other. Even if some IAS officials try, they will fall at the right feet and escape".

"There is one more thing added to it" said Venkat Swaminathan. "Not only were these people just parasites, they also derive great power by showing themselves as progressive leftists. Did you notice it?". I said "Yes" with an amazement.

They are known throughout the world through the numerous seminars they attend. They are highly networked. Journalists around the world seek their opinion on whatever happens in India. They are the people who gave a leftist mask to the Congress Government. If you look at it that way, the amount spent on them is quite low”, he said. They are the trolls sitting on the head of India and nobody can do anything to them. They decide what is art or culture or thought of India.

I have often been to IIC with my Malayalam journalist friends. For them, this is the place to pick rumours and convert them in to news. They know there are no secrets as the day wears out and the spirits rise higher and higher in the head.

But I can only pity those people who engage in to political debates based on the supposedly rare gems of wisdoms dished out by these “intellectuals” through the middle pages of English newspapers. These intellectuals never actually know the real politics. They just shout on the basis of the superfluous knowledge and stand points, with the prime space enable by the network. That’s all.

Long time back when I wrote about this Circle, I had mentioned that Barkha Dutt is none but a power broker, my own friends fought with me for degrading a “progressive fighter”. Fortunately for me, within a few days, the brokering she did with Tata leaked out through the Nira Radia tapes. (Incidentally, what happened to that case, does any body know?). But even those stark revelations could not bring down Barkha Dutt from her exalted pedestal even for a month. That is the kind of power they have.

But now, for the first time in the history of independent India someone has dared to touch this power circle. Warnings were circulated at the lower level for the last about 6 months. Last week the Culture Ministry decided to send a notice to them. This, perhaps, is the reason for these intellectuals to suddenly flare up against “intolerance”.

For example, painter Jatin Das, father of actress Nandita Das is occupying a large government bungalow at one of the premium locations in Delhi free of cost for many years. Government has sent an eviction notice to him. This is the real reason for Nandita Das strongly speaking about intolerance in television channels and writing in English newspapers (all diligently carried by the network).

Even for a man as strong Modi, I think he has touched a wrong nerve. These elements are too powerful. They can destroy India through the media worldwide. They can create a picture that rivers of blood are flowing in India. They can make businessmen around the world to halt. They can wreck the tourism industry. The truth is there is no other power centre like this in India. Tolerating them is unavoidable for India. And Modi’s intolerance of them is extremely dangerous – not only for him but for the country itself. "

Why is Neeraj Chopra's Olympics Gold extraordinary

Suraj has written a wonderful thread on Twitter explaining why Neeraj Chopra's Olympics Gold medal is an extraordinary feat. You can find the thread here.

This thread overviews the extraordinary performance of @Neeraj_chopra1 at Tokyo 2020 in the men’s javelin throw event - the statistics & history involved.

It describes the pathbreaking nature of the achievement, with regard to both Neeraj’s own and continental performance.

No Asian has ever won the men’s javelin gold before.

The event has been the preserve of east/central Europeans who are built like tanks. Neeraj is only the second non-white to win it after Kershorn Walcott.

In fact the magnitude of the achievement is even greater as no Asian has EVER won ANY medal in Olympic javelin throw prior to Neeraj.

Javelin has been the Monopolic domain of the Finns and other Nordics, with Germany, USSR and Hungary making up most of the rest. They also own all the best javelin brands, covered later. But that’s not all…

Neeraj is only the second ever Asian to win an Olympic throwing event, after Koji Murofushi’s 2004 hammer throw win. For several reasons, Neeraj did better - starting with the fact that he has no sporting pedigree, coming from a nation with no pedigree in javelin whatsoever.

Koji is the son of 5x Asian Games hammer throw champ Shigenobu Murofushi, and a Hungarian-Romanian competitive javelin thrower. In short, he has a huge genetic benefit that helped him be the only other Asian male winner of an Olympic throwing event.

In fact, historically, only 3 Asian men have even medaled in throwing events -
1. Koji in hammer
2. Iran’s Ehsan Hadadi silver in discus 2008
3. and now Neeraj Chopra from India.

These events are almost always dominated by Nordic/east/central Europe. No Chinese or Korean male has ever medaled in throwing sports.

In over half a century, only three men have won the javelin event with their first throw:
1. Hungarian legend Miklos Nemeth in 1976.
2. Jan Zelezny, the greater javelin thrower ever, in 1992.
3. Neeraj Chopra in 2020.

Ending the competition on first throw has been a habit for Neeraj. In fact at both #CWG2018 and #AsianGames2018 all his throws exceeded the 2nd place winner’s best throws. At #Tokyo2020 his first throw was beyond the 2nd best, and his second was even better.

This was despite the fact that the silver, bronze and 4th place winners all threw their season best throws - Neeraj finished nearly 1 meter ahead of them.

Fancied Johannes Vetter, the greatest modern thrower, struggled, after stating: Neeraj Chopra is good but tough for him to beat me.

https://indianexpress.com/article/olympics/neeraj-chopra-good-tough-to-beat-me-johannes-vetter-7417025/

The Tokyo games were affected by rain and winds. Planning ahead, Neeraj switched from his old Nemeth (from the company started by Miklos) to the imaginatively named Nordic Valhalla javelin earlier this year:

https://www.espn.com/athletics/story/_/id/31010150/neeraj-chopra-nordic-weapon-breaker-storms-national-records

Nordic Sport (previously Sandvik) and Nemeth are the two most popular javelin brands. A Valhalla javelin retails for about Rs.80000. Technically unforgiving, it rewards perfect technique with high ability to tolerate wet/windy conditions, which prevailed on Aug 7 in Tokyo.

Even before the Olympics, Neeraj was perhaps the most accomplished Indian athlete ever - the world junior champ, junior WR holder, CWG and AG champ - all by the age of 20. At 23, he’s among the youngest ever Olympic champions.

In 2016, Neeraj won the world U20 championship with a WR breaking throw of 86.48m, which would have earned him a bronze at Rio 2016. However the junior championship was too late to serve as qualification for Rio 2016, so he could not participate. You can watch his 2016 throw here

Neeraj is now the gold medalist in every major senior level event he has ever participated in on first attempt- AG, CWG and now OG. He won all of them on his first throw. He has never taken part in a world championship, missing 2019 due to career threatening elbow injury after which Bartonietz and a team of other specialists had to work to build Chopra from the ground up.

Bartonietz has been with Chopra through the most difficult patch the young athlete has faced in his career, an injury to his throwing arm that ruled him out of action for almost a year.

The body is a bow, the javelin an arrow. That’s what Klaus Bartonietz, an expert in biomechanics from Germany who is also one of the preeminent authorities on the javelin throw, wanted his ward Neeraj Chopra to understand. You can read more about this here.

"He is a humble athlete, not making a big noise about himself,” Bartonietz said. “Already a CWG champion, junior world record holder, but very humble. Others make a big noise about themselves, but mentally Neeraj is very strong.

Heartiest congratulations once again to Neeraj Chopra for winning an event no Asian has ever managed, in such a stupendous manner. Kudos to everyone nurturing this once in a generation talent, and I hope there are many more in future.

Also, many congratulations to the PM of India for recognizing potential athletes, giving them the training and the confidence to win medals.

The way PM Modiji personally called to interact with each Individuals, teams and their parents, and coaches before they left for Tokyo certainly helped them understand how the nation is with them, watching, cheering and boosting their morale as they compete with the best in the world.

Modiji also personally spoke to the teams and individuals after their crucial games to wish them, congratulate them and thank them for their contribution to the sport.

India can certainly expect more medals in future as sports is being given due recognition and the money is being spent on athletes and giving them the right coaching, nutrition and equipment to train rather than being pocketed by corrupt ministers and government officials that was prevalent in Congress Party's corrupt rule. See how in 2012, the International Olympics Committee suspended Indian Olympics Association for corruption, government interference and for ignoring Olympic guidelines.

India under Modiji and BJP's corruption free governance has come a long way since the corrupt rule of Congress was ended.

You can read how much money was siphoned in the Common Wealth Game scam here.

The 2010 New Delhi Commonwealth Games (CWG) have been marred by corruption and mismanagement, which have skewed India's reputation as a nation ravaged by high levels of fraud and misuse. ... CWG scam was one of the biggest Indian scams involving rounding of Rs. 70,000 crores

The detailed preliminary findings included the award of work contracts at higher prices, poor quality assurance and management, and work contracts awarded to ineligible agencies.

Organising Committee treasurer Anil Khanna resigned from the post in the wake of allegations that his son's firm had secured a contract for laying synthetic courts at a tennis stadium.

Among the alleged corruption and defrauding of the games budget.
toilet paper rolls valued at $2 were charged at $80
$2 soap dispensers at $60
$98 mirrors at $220
$11,830 altitude training simulators at $250,190

Such was the state of Sports in India in 2010. Since the BJP coming to power in India, things have massively improved for sports in the country. You can hear about the change from Anju George here.

A comparison of 2 disasters and their handling

Pandemic apart, we are also witnessing a wave of paid Congress trolls, who would have us believe that the BJP government is a failure and had there been a Congress PM, things would have been much better. Covid19 an unprecedented crisis. A pandemic of gigantic proportions. For the sake of argument, let's take our memories back to 2013 when Uttarakhand faced devastation due to flash floods.
25,000 people had died. Many were stranded, waiting for rescue or imminent death.

For three days after disaster struck, no help came from the Centre. Congress was at the helm. Manmohan Singh was the robot PM controlled by Sonia #AntoniaMaino.

After statewide protests and international media reports, there was an announcement, with zero follow-up action. Congress leadership left for undeclared reasons to USA and Bangkok. The aid to Uttarakhand was delayed by 3 days just so the mother and son can flag off the aid.

When the mom-son duo returned, 8 trucks with biscuits and water, and more importantly huge posters of the mom-son duo were shown the green flag with photo Ops. The supply never reached the people since the truck drivers were uncompensated. The trucks ran out of diesel enroute. Drivers didn't have money to eat.

Fast forward 15 days after the flash floods and nothing from the centre, the rotting dead bodies posed a risk of an epidemic. The Uttarakhand government refused assistance from all states to hide its own inaction.

What did happen later was that a company called Blue Breeze Trading Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the contract to extract the dead bodies. The company has only the famous Vadra family on the Board of Directors. The amount paid off to the company from government coffers? Some say, a whopping INR 7,36,00,00,000.

The only relief work which happened on the ground was done by the army and paramilitary . That too without any specific directions from the central government.

After doing its work, soldiers quietly went back.

Contrast that with how the airforce, DRDO, railways, foreign relations have been set in motion to bring immediate help to the people. All ministries are working in tandem. A nationwide effort is being coordinated on a war footing to save lives of Indians. Government machinery is being used to save lives of Indians.
Contrast this with how Congress, Gandhi family used government machinery for its own luxury.

For INC, the short memory of the general public is the only saving grace. Thank God, they are not at the helm of affairs. I shudder at the devastation and the scams which would have been caused even during a pandemic.

Never forget & never forgive such people.

French support for India. Why? An Analysis.

Analysis by a Twitter account Kaal Chiron

Romans and AngloSaxons are traditional enemies. France (Gaul) was a natural enemy/competitor of Germanic AngloSaxons

Current bout of love from France is about the fact that India single handedly ensured by buying Rafale that non American/anglosaxon fighter aviation industry stays alive.

Some historical background:
French were equally arseholes as British in their colonies. And both French & Brits are at the root of modern middle eastern problems.

But for Hindus French were always helpful because of their enmity with Brits. Since 1600s. Even Shivaji spared French missionaries in Surat (Abè Carrie).

Correspondence of Hindavi Swarājya and French empire has been relatively speaking quiet strong since Balaji Bajirao’s time. It strengthened even more after Panipat-3.

Nana Phadnavis was diplomatically intimate with the French. Even after revolution and “The Terror”, it continued. Napoleon and his correspondence with Tipu and later Marathas is well known.

Napoleon even planned to come to India from Egypt to fight against the Brits. It was too far fetched a plan but he actually thought of doing it.

Cut to present:
No one was buying Rafale. France insisted on keeping their strategic independence by getting out of Eurofighter Project (was supposed to be jointly developed by Germany-Spain-UK-Italy). France withdrew and decided to build a fighter for themselves based on their Mirage 2K platform.

That is Rafale. Eurofighter had a decent order list (three countries were going to buy it).

Before India, no one was buying Rafale. Dassault would have folded if Pappu’s “chowkidar chor hai” slogan worked. Pappu was clearly paid by Eurofighter and Anglo Lobby to screw French.

By voting Modi in, Hindus ensured strategic independence of France in global stage.

France understands this.

It is only Hindus who do not understand the global importance and worth of their vote-block. A section of Hindus always tries to screw that vote-block from within.

What fate Hindus averted in 2019 by voting in Modi is something we tend to forget often.

It is not that far nor it is averted. What is happening in WB is just a trailer of what awaits Hindus.

AngloSaxons (Eurofighter) will not give us tech for making our own low bypass Jet engine.

French will do that at some price.

Price will be more Rafales perhaps. It is worth it, I guess. Our IAF fleet is severely depleted. And our IAF boys have always been happy with Dassault Platforms.

Just like there are powers who wish Hindu block should not form or should disintegrate, there also are powers which ardently wish (for their selfish interests : that’s how almost every relationship is in international politics) that Hindu block forms and strengthens. 😊

Job of a good politician is :

1. To convince internal Hindus to strengthen the Hindu veto in India.

2. To assure those who positively wish for longevity of Hindu Veto that it is here to stay.

3. To convince the opposition that they too can benefit from it if they drop antagonism.

It's a pretty crappy and thankless job.

This applies within : vis-a-vis Muslims and Christians.

That is what RSS is doing. That is what Savarkar said - “if you come, with you. If you don’t come, without you. If you oppose, in spite of you - we will achieve our goals”

And this applies in international politics as well.

Interesting tidbit
The Guy who defeated Hindavi Swarājya after years of battle on fields of Assaye in a very closely fought battle (as per his own admission - the toughest battle of his career) is the same guy who defeated Napoleon 10 years later on Waterloo.

Arthur Wellesley.

There are two more angles here.
It is not just Rafale, but Scorpene Submarines and Areva Nuclear Reactors too which we have bought from French - saving their shipbuilding and Nuclear Industry too.

Second angle is of Biotechnology.

Pfizer only markets and manufactures the vaccine. The real R&D is done by a German biotech company called BioNTech. Hence Germany is opposed to releasing the patents and Angela Merkel is dissing and cussing India - she knows Hindus will get mRNA delivery technology very soon.

Everyone is Shitscared of the COVID strain 1.617 (whatever) which is rampaging in India.

Remember Indians were almost unaffected by the strains that screwed the west. When this new strain reaches the west (matter of time) they are worried about how will they fare.

In current times, Covaxin is the strategic weapon (kavach) of Hindus (pardon me if I use the word weapon for describing a life-saving vaccine) on which outsiders have no control/lever on whatsoever. It is not high-tech but it works.

When Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine is approved and if it shows decent efficacy, it is going to be a game changer.

There is a very good interview of Amit Surg on COVID on Indic Vichaar by Ajay Sudame. Watch the interview here.

Amit touches a point briefly - subsequent waves infect those who were left untouched in first wave.

In west, schools have been open since beginning. Why? Because kids at home means productivity goes down by 50% (one parent has to be with child). Kids must be out of home. 😀

The demographic which is now left from herd immunity (either by infection or vaccination) is children below 18.

That can be the breeding ground for subsequent waves.

If Nasal vaccine works, it can be very quickly deployed on children like polio campaign.

Since Germany decided to go in bad books, French is trying extra hard to be on good books.
