Churches in some places provided crosses to Hindu neighbors to wear so that the Pakistan Army wouldn't think they were Hindus.

In Faridpur alone, 10,000 Hindus have been killed.

Some of them came back, not because Pakistan Army stopped killing them but because they weren't safe anywhere, so they rather be unsafe at home. Some still needed to make a living. Why? 


India had asked the UN to help. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Sadruddin Aga Khan, made it clear that India shouldn't expect UN to fully bear the financial burden. Later, measly $70 dollars were given. For 10 million refugees for 9 months

The campaign against Hindus was systematic. The properties of Hindus were confiscated by the Pakistani establishment. This was done before 1971 war too, through the Enemy Property Act.
